Penetration Testing (White Hat)

What is a “White Hat” penetration test?
A white hat hacker breaks security for non-malicious reasons, perhaps to test their own security system or while working for a security company which makes security software. The term "white hat" in Internet slang refers to an ethical hacker. This classification also includes individuals who perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments within a contractual agreement. The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants, also known as the EC-Council has developed certifications, courseware, classes, and online training covering the diverse arena of Ethical Hacking.

White Hat Testing
Our “White Hat” Penetration Assessment review techniques and methodology mimics the processes used by attackers to gain access to systems on the internet.  Internal network-based procedures will be employed, using both commercial and public domain tools, to define the current network configuration and to identify an organization’s potential network vulnerabilities.  The results of our testing will allow us to quantify the depth and degree of information vulnerability.  Our scope can be tailored to your specific needs and environment.
