Ken Chappell joined Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP in 1978 and was elected Partner in 1983. He became Partner-In-Charge of the Watsonville office in 1988.

A member of the Firm's Tax Committee, Ken's areas of expertise include the taxation of closely held corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates and trusts. He has gained a reputation as an imaginative professional who is intensely committed to realizing tax savings for his varied clientele.

Ken specializes in serving clients in the agribusiness industry, including growers, processors and brokers. He also works with contractors, retailers and wholesalers.

Ken is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A life-long resident of Watsonville, Ken has served at the board level of numerous local charitable and community service organizations.

Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, San Diego, where he majored in accounting, and received his MS degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.
