Joe Muriello joined Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP in 1991 and became a Partner in 2000. He specializes in business valuations, and heads up the Firm's Business Valuation Group. He is a Certified Business Appraiser and a member of The Institute of Business Appraisers and the American Society of Appraisers. Joe has performed over 130 appraisals of small and medium-sized closely held entities for purposes of estates and gifts, shareholder buy-outs, shareholder disputes, marital dissolution, SBA loans, ESOP's, mergers and acquisitions, and buy/sell agreements. He has extensive experience in appraising family limited partnerships and limited liability companies for gifting purposes.

Joe provides audit, tax, and consulting services to financial institutions including community banks, credit unions and trust companies. Prior to joining Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP, he worked for a financial institutions consulting firm providing regulatory-related services, litigation support, and business valuations for banks and S&L's. Joe also provides audit, tax, and consulting services for privately held businesses in a number of other industries.

Joe is a 1984 graduate of DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois, where he obtained his bachelors and masters degrees in economics. He later completed his accounting coursework at the University of California Los Angeles.
