Richard Preciado joined Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP in 1993 and became a Partner in 2000. He was then named Managing Partner in October 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Preciado worked with a regional public accounting firm. During his career, Preciado has developed an expertise in accounting, auditing, business consulting and taxation of agribusiness, construction, manufacturing, healthcare and retail entities, as well as the accounting and auditing of nonprofits. Preciado has helped develop the firm's niches in the areas of construction, tribal and gaming services, business valuation and cost segregation services.

A lifetime resident of El Centro, Preciado is an active member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a past president of the Kiwanis Club of El Centro. Preciado is also a past chairman of the City of El Centro's Planning Commission and the past president of the El Centro Education Foundation. Furthermore, Preciado is a lifetime member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.

Preciado is a graduate of San Diego State University. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. He has been certified since 1993.
